AYUSH Doctors Welcome Dr Masarat Iqbal Wani as New CMO Kupwara

A delegation of AYUSH doctors on Tuesday extended a warm welcome to Dr Masarat Iqbal Wani upon assuming charge as the new Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara.

The team comprised Dr Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Dr Basharat Khan a well known writer, author, columnist and critic , Dr Javid Khan, and Dr Amir Bhat, who called on  CMO Kupwara at his office. The delegation presented a bouquet as a token of goodwill and conveyed their best wishes for his tenure.

Dr Wani expressed gratitude for the gesture and assured full cooperation in furthering the reach of AYUSH services in the district. Both sides stressed the importance of integrated healthcare and improved service delivery, particularly in remote and underserved areas.

The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to work collaboratively towards strengthening the public health system in Kupwara.
