CRPF organises free medical
camp at Bumhama Kupwara

CRPF's 162 Battalion Tuesday organized a free medical camp at Government Girls Middle School Bumhama Kupwara. The camp was inaugurated by Second in Command P K Lal.
Ex Sarpanch Bumhama, Nazir Ahmad, Assistant Commandant Neeraj Kumar Yadav, Medical Officer Dr Ajay Kumar, Dr Javid Ahmad and other officers and dignitaries graced the occasion by their presence.
The medical camp was organised in consonance with the ongoing peace process by security forces across Kashmir valley.
A team of specialist CRPF and civil doctors rendered their services to over 200 patients including men, women and children. These patients had come from different nearby villages for treatment. Free medicines were also distributed among people.
People of the area have hailed the efforts of CRPF and hoped of organising such camps in future also.
On the occasion Second in Command PK Lal of 162 Battalion remarked that CRPF always stood for peace, prosperity and development of the society.
"The aim of such programmes is to develop good relations with locals and also help them in difficult times. It is a continuous process and 162 Battalion is periodically conducting community outreach programs in one or other way. In the past also such free medical camps were organised in Kupwara district," he added.
He said that they will continue to conduct such civic programmes for the benefit of the local public in future.
