300ma Digital X-Ray Machine Inaugurated at PHC Chogal

A 300ma digital X-ray machine was inaugurated at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chogal on Monday, marking a significant upgrade in diagnostic facilities for the local population. The inauguration ceremony was held under the chairmanship of MLA Langate, Khursheed Ahmad, in the presence of Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Dr Masrat Iqbal Wani, and Block Medical Officer Handwara, Dr Ishrat Chowdhury.

The event was also attended by the staff of PHC Chogal and former Sarpanch Riyaz Ahmad, who welcomed the development as a step forward in healthcare delivery for the area.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Langate Khursheed Ahmad said, “This facility will immensely benefit the local population, especially in emergencies. It was a long-pending demand of the people, and I am glad to see it fulfilled today. Strengthening rural health infrastructure remains our top priority.”

Residents of Chogal and adjoining areas expressed gratitude to the MLA, CMO, and the health department for addressing their longstanding demand.
