Altaf Hussain Zargar, a resident of Zargar Mohalla in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, is steadily establishing himself as a significant voice in contemporary poetry. Though a chemist by profession, with a degree in pharmacy from Bangalore, his growing literary reputation stems from his poetic talent, which has garnered widespread recognition in a remarkably short time.
